This time ...with AC "Dear Lizzy" collection.

Mother's day at my house

 

 

 

 

I try to have my familly over almost every year. We alway make a sort of a potluck so all the mommy's can have a small break from cooking the whole meal. This year it was 3 types of soup, 4 kinds of muffins, 2 salads and 2 deserts.I decorated with tulips from my yard. I put them in old spaghetti jars and glue gunned a bobby pin to it. I added a little button, a October Afternoon card and a ribbon to the rim. Got this idea from one of my favorite photo blogs.I also decorated with some coffee filter pom-poms from rhonna of House of 3.My kids gave me really nice home made gifts that made my cry (of course). All and all, it was a great Mother's day.

So I took a break from my usual Cosmo/October/Sass to use something a little different...Teresa Collins papers.My Mom is a fan of pink and leopard print so these cards became a b-day present for her.I really like things with tiaras!!!
